Questi sono i CD che abbiamo suonato in trasmissione nel 2013 e che abbiamo pensato rappresentassero il meglio, e gli aspetti più innovativi, del paesaggio sonoro di Echoes in questo anno passato. Non sono stupito se i vostri preferiti non sono presenti. Questo è stato uno degli anni più importanti in assoluto per la musica di Echoes. "Se qualcosa si distingue riguardo la musica selezionata per l'annuale carellata di fine anno di textura, è quanto sia stilisticamente eterogenea, con electronica, jazz, jungle, modern classical, post-rock, drum'n'bass e prog-rock tutti presenti nella lista. E' sempre un esercizio affascinante recensire un anno di pubblicazioni e poi assistere, a volte in maniera sorprendente, a ciò che emerge come scelte migliori. Come le liste precedenti, questa decima selezione di proposte di fine anno rappresenta la musica che più ha affascinato le orecchie di textura durante l'anno solare. Come sempre, le selezioni sono state fatte in base a un semplice principio: solo le uscite che sono state sottoposte a textura per la recensione durante l'anno in questione sono state considerate ammissibili. Di seguito sono quindi elencati i lavori a cui siamo tornati più volte e il cui ritornare ci ha più volte ricompensato."
